Support Local Farms
We love Volunteers
The farm is open for volunteers from Friday-Sunday. We look forward to seeing you on the Farm!
All are Welcome to Volunteer
We have partnered with non-profit, educational farm, relies on the help of individual and group volunteers to help us with the day to day operations of our community farm. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds have the opportunity to learn and gain hands-on organic farming experience. All are welcome to volunteer; including groups, student clubs, businesses, and individuals. (Volunteers under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult. More info below.)
Volunteers can assist with a variety of farm tasks such as planting, harvesting, and weeding. There are also site projects for those with carpentry and electrical skills. Or if you just enjoy cooking, cleaning, photography, painting, sewing, teaching, or any other past time let’s talk about how you can help!
Thank you for your support and assistance.
Weekly Workshare
In exchange for working 2-3 hours on the farm per week you can earn a share of what’s currently growing in the fields.
Workshares truly help our farm! The work isn’t difficult but it can be strenuous on your body. You also don’t have to know how to farm – we’ll show you what to do. Being dependable and able to make a commitment is very important. Communication is also key!
We have been asked if Workshare members can bring their children or grandchildren. For reasons of safety, security, and liability, we need to discuss this up front – and together determine if your child will thrive in our environment and with our systems. Let’s talk.
